To obtain a guarantee, the following is required: a completed and certified application form, an opened denar and foreign currency account in NLB Bankа, a contract/document confirming the commercial transaction between the parties, as well as appropriate collateral.
Documentary Letters of Credit – Nostro
Secure payment and a protected commercial agreement are ensured through Documentary Letters of Credit – Nostro, helping reduce commercial risk and ensuring reliable fulfillment of contractual obligations.
A documentary letter of credit is an irrevocable undertaking by the issuing bank to pay upon presentation of compliant documents, in line with the agreed terms. A Nostro letter of credit is issued by NLB Banka Skopje on behalf of its client or for its own needs.
To issue a letter of credit, an opened denar and foreign currency account in NLB Banka are required, along with a contract confirming the transaction, a completed and signed application form (Form 145), and appropriate collateral.
Documentary Collections – Loro

A Loro collection involves incoming documents received by NLB Banka Skopje for payment by its client or forwarded to another bank under instructions.
An opened denar and foreign currency account in NLB Banka are required to use the service.
